Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Lead Audio-Video Installation Technician to support commercial AV projects. This field-based role is ideal for someone who can install and troubleshoot integrated systems while guiding team members on best practices and job site execution. You will play a key part in delivering reliable, high-quality results across environments ranging from single-room setups to complex multi-space installations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead on-site commercial audio-video installations and help ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot AV components such as flat panel displays, projectors, audio systems, video distribution equipment, control systems, and IP-based devices.
- Build and organize equipment racks, manage cable routing, perform rough-in work, and maintain clean, detail-focused installation standards.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders including sales engineering, internal teams, clients, and other trades to support smooth project delivery.
- Train and mentor technicians in installation methods, troubleshooting approaches, and job site expectations.
- Diagnose system issues in the field and perform advanced service work to restore functionality and maintain performance.
- Use power tools, ladders, and standard industry equipment while following all required safety procedures on active job sites.
