Overview Join our church as a Sound Room Technician, where your expertise will elevate the quality of our audio-visual content. In this role, you will be responsible for managing sound and video equipment within the church, ensuring seamless audio output, presentations, and troubleshooting problems when needed. Your technical skills and creative eye will contribute to producing seamless presentation and audio for the church. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, innovative setting while supporting impactful media projects. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and maintain audio and video recording equipment in the sound room to ensure optimal sound quality and visual clarity during church hours (8AM-12PM every Sunday) Manage signal processing equipment to enhance audio fidelity and synchronize sound with video footage during production and post-production stages. Assist with filming activities by setting up cameras, lighting, and sound equipment to capture high-quality footage for Living Water's Facebook page. Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, troubleshoot technical issues promptly, and ensure all gear is properly stored and calibrated for future use. Skills Strong understanding of signal processing techniques to optimize audio quality during recording and editing phases. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues swiftly to minimize downtime during shoots or editing sessions.
