Job Description

Kobi Halperin Tech Design team is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Design Intern to assist our Tech Design team. This hands-on role provides direct exposure to garment development, sample logistics, tech pack preparation, and factory communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Receiving & Sample Prep:
Receive daily factory packages, unpack and route items to appropriate teams (Production, Design, Tech), measure/spec incoming samples, and steam garments for fit reviews.
Tech Pack & Document Preparation:
Print and assemble complete tech packs prior to fit list reviews; accurately label cover pages; duplicate and organize Excel spec, comment, and photo sheets.
Fitting Support:
Assist with pre-fitting setups, organize fit racks by priority, print pre-fit paperwork, distribute trim pages to Production, and record notes during fit sessions.
Factory Shipping Logistics:
Maintain daily shipping logs and folders; coordinate outgoing sample packages with the shipping department; adhere to daily shipping cutoffs; communicate tracking numbers and shipping invoices to overseas factories.
Tech Pack & Artwork Assistance:
Assist the Tech team with uploading fit photos, updating flat sketches in Photoshop, and maintaining the TOP closet and digital pattern library.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a Fashion Design, Apparel Production, or Technical Design program. Basic understanding of garment construction, spec sheets, and sample measuring. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator. Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and clear communication skills. Rate - $17 per hour
