Production Technician

The Production Technician will work in the field alongside operations teams to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize production systems. This position focuses on equipment reliability, preventative maintenance, and identifying root causes of operational issues.

Responsibilities include:

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in the field Conduct root cause failure analysis and implement solutions Support pre- and post-job reviews Monitor and validate operating conditions and production data Coordinate and oversee contractor work as needed Assist in improving operational processes and reducing equipment failures Communicate effectively with field teams and remote personnel This role requires a high level of physical activity including walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and working in outdoor environments. Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills Ability to analyze data and make sound decisions in the field Strong communication skills (phone, video, and in-person) Basic understanding of oil & gas production systems preferred Experience with equipment such as valves, pumps, vessels, and control systems preferred Familiarity with artificial lift systems (gas lift, plunger lift, compression) is a plus Comfortable working with high-pressure systems (up to 3,000 PSI) Ability to adapt to changing work environments and priorities Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed Crosby Energy Services is seeking a hands-on Production Technician (Cotula, TX Area)to support field operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of oil and gas production equipment.
