Do you have a way with words—and maybe a favorite local taco truck you love? Join our What's Up? Media team as a contract Food Writer and turn your taste buds into storytelling magic! We're looking for people who: Love trying new restaurants, recipes, or food trends Can craft compelling, engaging articles about food, dining, chefs, and the local scene Have strong writing skills and a clear, fun, or informative voice Can meet deadlines and collaborate with the assignment editor What you'll do: Write restaurant reviews/news, chef/owner interviews, dining guide updates, and foodie features Explore the local culinary scene and spotlight hidden gems Share your authentic perspective and make readers hungry for more Bonus points if you: Have photography skills or a tasty-looking Instagram Know your way around SEO or social media Have previous writing or journalism experience (not required—just bring the passion!)
