FreelanceHybrid$75 - $81.63 /hr Posted May 21, 2026 Were looking for a talented Art Director to join a fast-paced, in-house agency team supporting a leading organization in the healthcare/biotech space. This role will help concept and deliver high-impact creative across a variety of channels, partnering closely with copy, production, and marketing teams. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who blends strong conceptual thinking with hands-on execution and is comfortable working within a highly collaborative, detail-oriented environment. This role is onsite at least 3 days a week in San Fran. What You'll Do:
Lead and contribute to creative concepting and visual direction across campaigns and content
Translate briefs into compelling, brand-aligned creative across digital, video, print, and integrated channels
Collaborate closely with copywriters, producers, designers, and strategists to bring ideas to life
Maintain and evolve brand standards and visual consistency across all deliverables
Partner with stakeholders to present and refine creative, incorporating feedback effectively
Work alongside production teams to ensure seamless execution from concept through delivery
Balance multiple projects while meeting timelines and quality expectations
Contribute to improving creative workflows and processes within the team What You Bring:
5+ years of experience as an Art Director or Senior Designer, ideally within an agency or in-house creative team
Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual campaigns and executed design across multiple channels
Expertise in visual storytelling, layout, typography, and design systems
Experience working in regulated or highly structured environments (healthcare, pharma, biotech) is a plus
Ability to collaborate across disciplines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative rationale
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Figma or other tools a plus) In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
