Job Description

Creative Design Manager Lead Our Visual Strategy While Directing High-Impact Projects At Cottingham & Butler, our Creative Manager will guide both our design team and our visual direction as a leading national insurance brokerage. You'll oversee the creation of clear, powerful marketing materials and take personal ownership of our most important creative projects, while helping your team excel in their daily work. This role is ideal for someone who combines genuine design talent with business smarts and wants to see their creative vision make a real difference in our company's success. Strategic Leadership Provide thoughtful direction while respecting the expertise of our creative team Balance creative integrity with strategic business objectives Collaborate with internal teams to define marketing needs and execute strategic projects Lead creative strategy for our digital presence across all platforms Design Management Direct our most significant marketing campaigns and high-visibility materials Establish and maintain brand guidelines ensuring consistency across all materials Oversee website design, social media branding, and multimedia content development Direct production logistics, print scheduling, and high-quality file preparation Ideal Experience & Skills Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field 3-5 years graphic design experience Decisive problem-solver who can make clear choices to move projects forward while maintaining creative integrity Exceptional communicator who can translate design concepts to business stakeholders and explain business needs to creative teams Strong team leader who brings out the best in others through collaboration, mentorship, and clear direction Proven ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously, maintaining high standards while meeting tight deadlines Experience in budget management and resource allocation with adaptability to changing priorities Sharp eye for detail balanced with strategic thinking to see the bigger picture Your Place in Our Organization Report to our Head of Marketing, with regular visibility to executive team Lead and mentor our in-house design talent while encouraging their growth Partner with Marketing Coordinators to amplify messaging and understand business needs Rewards That Reflect Your Value Salary package flexible based on your experience and expertise PTO and paid holidays to recharge and inspire creativity Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance (most benefits starting Day 1) Financial security through 401(k) with company match and profit-sharing opportunities Peace of mind with company-paid short and long-term disability and life insurance Maternity and parental leave programs On-site dining options, fitness center, and childcare center for better work-life integration Subsidized parking to simplify your daily commute If you are looking for an opportunity to shape the future direction of our creative capabilities, we want to meet you.
