John Kind Studios is seeking experienced creative leaders who can translate client goals into clear creative direction for selected projects and programs. The Project Creative Director / Program Lead develops the creative approach after a project has been sold. Depending on the assignment, this may include story direction, campaign concepts, visual direction, messaging, educational programming, curriculum concepts, creative briefs and quality supervision. This person provides direction to assigned writers, designers, filmmakers, photographers, editors, talent and other specialists and is responsible for maintaining creative cohesion and approving work within the assigned project. This is project-specific creative authority, not automaticpany-wide creative-director authority. John Kind Studios operates with a permanent operating structure and project-activated team. This position does not guarantee hours or assignments. Work begins when JKS has a funded client engagement requiring the role. Each assignment is confirmed in writing with the role, authority, scope, fee, timeline and deliverables. Strongmunication, responsiveness and follow-through are requirements for remaining active with JKS.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience leading creative projects, campaigns, productions, programs or multidisciplinary teams. Candidates should have a portfolio or case studies demonstrating both creative judgment and the ability to direct other professionals—not simply produce their own individual work. Excellentmunication, briefing, feedback and decision-making skills are required. Candidates should be able to interpret a client's objectives, establish a creative direction and maintain quality through delivery.
Current JKSpensation model:
