- $45 /hr Posted May 20, 2026 Our University client is seeking an experienced Logo Designer to support a new initiative, in a project capacity.
This opportunity is estimated at approximately 10 hours total, with potential for slight extension depending on revisions. The designer will focus on finalizing a logo that aligns with existing University brand standards while establishing a distinct, warm, and approachable identity for their new affiliate non-profit. The ideal candidate has strong logo and visual identity experience, is comfortable working within established brand systems, and can balance higher education credibility with entertainment appeal. As a Logo Designer, you will work closely with the Executive Director in charge of this project to refine and deliver a final logo that can be used across digital, print, and merchandise applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design and finalize a logo for the University's new affiliate non-profit.
- Develop logo variations, including full name and abbreviated version
- Provide light guidance on color usage that aligns with University branding standards
- Ensure the logo is adaptable across digital, print, and swag applications Incorporate feedback efficiently through limited revision rounds
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders while maintaining clear design direction
Requirements:
- Previous experience in logo design and visual identity
- Strong portfolio demonstrating clean, professional logo work
- Entertainment, music, sports, or media industry experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work efficiently
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, freelance environment In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
