Quarterly Job Summary:
Eko the Eagle is a spirited and lovable representative of our institution, embodying our school's values, pride, and enthusiasm at various social events and gatherings. The primary role of this position is to engage with students and the community, fostering a positive and energetic atmosphere while promoting school spirit.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Perform as Eko at campus functions (dancing, interacting with students, etc.
) - ex:
IGNITE, H.U.B
Fair, athletic games, etc.
  • Enthusiastic, outgoing, and able to maintain a high level of energy and excitement.
  • Creativity and improvisational skills to engage with the crowd without speaking.
  • Punctuality and reliability in Eko appearance schedules and commitments.
  • Uphold La Sierra's values and maintain a respectful and appropriate behavior while in mascot costume.
  • Must maintain a secret identity throughout the school year.
Required Skills:
  • Must be a current student.
Physical/Mental Demands:
extreme heat and dehydrations, heavy and awkward weight distribution, sensory deprivation and balance impairment.
  • While not a requirement, we recommend applicants are 5'7 and above.
