Associate, Authentics Miami Marlins - 4.1 Miami, FL Job Details 4 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Word embeddings Customer inquiry handling Office record organization Full Job Description The Authentics Associate , will support the execution and expansion of the Marlins Authentics program with the Coordinator. The position will play an integral role in driving the overall business strategy and executing the day-to-day operations of the Marlins Authentics program. This person will work closely with various departments within the organization such as Baseball Operations, Ballpark Operations, Accounting, The Community Foundation, MLB Authenticators, and Major League Baseball to execute the Marlins Authentics business plan from item collection through final sale. Responsibilities Help coordinate, execute, and expand the Marlins game used and autographed item program. Assist with managing various inventory-recording tools and create pertinent monthly, mid-season, and end-of-year accounting documents. Assist with the implementation and consistent execution of the Marlins Authentics online auctions. Work with team clubhouse personnel to manage uniform inventory and coordinate collection. Generate new revenue streams by expanding autographed merchandise and game used item offerings. Work with MLB game-used licensees to maximize inventory and develop creative, visual storytelling elements to market items. Develop new and maintain current collector relationships to drive incremental sales, both onsite and remotely. Work alongside team support staff to sell Marlins Authentics items at the Loan Depot Park concourse kiosk during every home game. Reply to fan inquiries and execute sales via the Marlins Authentics direct sales channels. Support working with MLB Authenticators to ensure desired autographed and game used items are authenticated. Assist the Coordinator with managing communication for all fan and customer inquiries, MLB Authenticator coordination, and Major League Baseball licensee business. Requirements Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of memorabilia and sports game used item programs. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Demonstrated record keeping, organization, and planning skills. Demonstrated oral and written communication ability. Ability to work a varied schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Availability during offseason is strongly encouraged to assist with inventory. Demonstrated baseball knowledge and understanding of Marlins history and fan base. Desired Qualifications Ability to listen to feedback with strong leadership skills. Ability to meet objective sales goals under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Preferred undergraduate degree in marketing or business. Previous work experience in the memorabilia/game used industry. Previous work experience in professional sports, merchandise, and/or licensing.
