Job Description

OVERVIEW

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate radio station control board and all studio equipment as directed Follow programming and commercial logs and ensure all elements air properly Perform all Emergency Alert System (EAS) tests as required Perform other tasks necessary for the successful broadcast of radio programs Adhere to all applicable laws and FCC regulations
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and effectively manage time Self-starter, with the ability to take and follow direction Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with the station s clients and listeners Can work well independently and as an integral part of the team Ability to stand for long periods of time, and lift/move up to 50 lbs Submit to a criminal background check Legal right to work in the United States EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Six months of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays
