SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
Are you passionate about snow sports and want to play a key role in creating the ultimate terrain park experience at Spirit Mountain ? We're looking for energetic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Terrain Park Crew Attendants . This is a unique position within the Outdoor Operation Attendant position where you'll help set up and maintain our terrain park, test jumps and features, and serve as a brand ambassador for the mountain. While applications are open now, hiring will begin in late October for the upcoming winter season!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up and maintain features in the terrain park (jumps, rails, boxes, etc.) Ensure snow quality by prepping landings and managing snow conditions around the park Test out jumps and attractions to ensure they are safe and fun for guests Act as a brand ambassador for Spirit Mountain, interacting with guests and promoting a positive vibe Maintain signage, ropes, and park boundaries to ensure safety Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations across the resort PERKS $1 Ski Pass after meeting 30 days or 4 consecutive shifts of employment. Perk Passes for discounts for friends and family and a $50 seasonal pass for your dependents (please note this is for those with eligible dependents). 30% discount on food during working hours. Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one year of experience in lift operations or a similar role, or a strong interest in skiing or snowboarding to relate to guests. Ability to approach guests with humor, engage them, and enhance their overall experience. Proven ability to work independently and lead by example. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Physical capability to perform job duties in various weather conditions, including cold and snowy environments.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced knowledge of ski lift operations. 18 years of age or older. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues. Experience in training or mentoring staff.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and stoop for extended periods in various weather conditions. Capacity to lift up to 40 pounds regularly. Comfortable working at heights and in a range of outdoor environments, including cold and snowy conditions.
