Job Description

Overview In this position you are a member of the Changeover Crew . Duties required converting the facility from hockey mode to concert or basketball/soccer and back. Any event-oriented preparation/setup required for shows or sporting events to run safely and efficiently and other duties as assigned. This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.00 - $20.00.

Responsibilities Responsible for working as part of a team to convert and prepare the arena for events. Installing/removing ice covering, staging, risers, and basketball courts. Handle folding chairs, stacking chairs, tables of various shapes and sizes, drapery, and skirting. Assist, when necessary, with pre/post-event cleaning, including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, vacuuming, spot cleaning, washing, and carpet cleaning. Maintain an effective working relationship with other departments, clients, and patrons encountered in the course of employment. Work effectively under pressure and stringent schedules to produce accurate results. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Related experience desired but not required. Ability to lift heavy objects often. Knowledge of staging and production equipment is desired. Available to work flexible hours preferred, including daytime, evenings, and overnights (mostly overnights). Must be comfortable wearing safety footwear.
