JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Ticketing & Broadcast Media Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with season ticket holders, mini-plan and individual game buyers and all SLU Athletics constituents. This position is also responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the ESPN+ streaming platform. This position works primarily with fall ticketed sporting events (Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer, and Volleyball) and winter ticketed sports (Men's & Women's Basketball).
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides superior customer service to ensure a positive experience for all our patrons Fields in-bound calls and emails for ticket sales and customer service inquiries Assists in the promotion, sales and distribution of season tickets, groups, partial plans and single game tickets Leads the interviewing, hiring and training of student workers on an as needed basis (including identifying, scheduling and training SLU student workers for ESPN+ productions including talent, producer/director, replay operator, graphic operator, camera operator and engineer) Manages the complimentary staff and donation ticket requests including fulfillment and documentation Performs various financial and operational duties, to include payment processing, financial reconciliation, ticket inventory management, invoicing and mailing fulfillment Follows and understands the streaming minimum requirements set forth by the Atlantic 10 Conference related to the
A-10/ESPN
media rights agreement Works with the Atlantic 10 Conference to schedule ESPN+ events in collaboration with ESPN Works in collaboration with various groups to create and distribute postgame melts of events Works additional athletic events as needed; stays up-to-date with emerging trends in streaming technology Performs other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Strong knowledge of video production and social media Proven ability to work independently, prioritize, and complete tasks in a timely manner Excellent communication skills required for working with diverse groups Strong written communication skills; excellent organizational skills with accuracy and attention to detail Demonstrated appreciation for diversity and inclusion
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree Two years of related experience Ability to work non-traditional hours including nights and weekends; willingness to travel, as needed
