Job Description

The Athletics Marketing/Promotions Game Day Student Worker will assist the marketing and promotions team in creating a fun, engaging, and professional game day atmosphere for fans at University Athletics events. This role focuses on fan engagement, game presentation, and supporting the execution of in-game promotions to enhance the overall fan experience.
Duties Include:
Assist with setup and teardown of game day marketing and promotional elements, including signage, fan zones, and on-field or on-court promotions. Serve as part of the promotions team during athletic events, including distributing giveaways, helping with sponsor activations, and engaging with fans. Execute in-game promotions and activities, such as halftime contests, on-field recognitions, and crowd engagement initiatives. Assist with post-game breakdown and storage of marketing materials. Assist with game presentation, including but not limited to operating music, coordinating the press box, operating video board cameras, or coordinating on-field recognitions. Perform other duties as assigned by the marketing and promotions staff.
Education:
Must be a current student at the university in good academic standing.
Experience:
Energetic, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable interacting with fans of all ages and providing excellent customer service. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the athletics event schedule.

Game and event days as assigned
