Job Description

Company Description Red Bull New York are one of 30 teams in Major League Soccer (MLS). RBNY, one of the ten charter clubs of MLS, have competed in the league since its founding in 1996. Red Bull New York play home matches at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey. The three-time MLS Supporters' Shield Winners and two-time Conference Champions are owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull, for which the team is named. Red Bull New York offer one of the nation's premier youth soccer development programs, from local soccer partnerships across New York and New Jersey to Regional Development Schools and the Red Bulls Academy teams.
POSITION SUMMARY
Red Bull New York Operations Department is looking for motivated individuals to join to our match day staff. The season(s) will get under way in late February and carry on through until the end of the calendar year. This role is a unique opportunity to join the club and gain comprehensive understanding of operations at RBNY and Sports Illustrated Stadium (SIS). Experience will also include working match days and non-match days at Sports Illustrated Stadium (SIS) and Montclair State University. In addition to soccer events (MLS, MLSNP, NWSL), chosen you will likely be exposed to dark day assignments, special events, stadium projects, and potential requested support at the first team training ground. (MLSNP) Matches @ Montclair State University. Support operations of SIS and stadium setup, breakdown, staging and conversion for matches. Coordinate with other Red Bull New York departments to ensure successful event execution. Collaborate with outside parties (visiting teams, referees, league officials, vendors, partners) to ensure all needs are met. Other designated assigned responsibilities. Qualifications Someone with the ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform moderate labor over the course of a full event (8-12 hrs). Can work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.). Professionalism around pro athletes/teams, while maintaining composure and effectiveness under pressure and changing conditions in a team environment. Ability to meet deadlines; accomplish work in order of priority; effectively multitask and deliver consistently at a high level. Additional Information Due to the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, you may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the company. The base hourly rate for this position is $20. Actual offers may vary based on work experience. The base hourly pay is subject to change and may be modified.
