Role Description The Photo Booth Technician is a part-time, on-site role based in New York, NY. This role is responsible for transporting, setting up, operating, and breaking down photo booth equipment at events, ensuring that all hardware and software function smoothly throughout the event so guests receive a seamless experience. Additional responsibilities include basic troubleshooting of technical issues, maintaining equipment cleanliness and organization, and communicating with event hosts and MirMir staff to align on event timelines and expectations. The role may require evening and weekend availability, as well as occasional travel to local venues. Qualifications Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to support guests and collaborate with event hosts and teammates. Photography and Image Editing skills a plus. Comfort with technology, including cameras, laptops/tablets, printers, and photo booth software; basic troubleshooting skills. Ability to lift, carry, and set up equipment as needed. Strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality, branded photo experiences. Previous event, hospitality, or AV/technical support experience is preferred but not required. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules. Drivers license required.
