Salary:
AEA Members:
5% of the base salary on the AEA Certified Salary Schedule
Non-AEA Members:
5% of the base salary on the Non-Degreed Certificated Salary Schedule
Position Summary:
The Spirit Club Advisor will coordinate, plan, and monitor student activities and programs throughout the school year. They act as the liaison between students, administrative staff, faculty, vendors, and community members to facilitate the success of student programs.
Essential Duties :
Plan a Fall and Winter Pep Rally Decorate for Spirit Weeks Attend home football games and tailgates Chaperone the Spirit Bus to away football games Oversee ticket sales for the Spirit Buses Attend home basketball games Hold monthly planning meetings from September through March or April Plan Staff vs. Student Basketball game The following requirements must be on file before starting: Valid and Appropriate Ohio Teaching License or Pupil Activity Permit Ohio Auditor of State Fraud Reporting and Training Certificate of Completion Favorable State and Federal background checks Negative Drug Screen Result Employees must follow all board policies, all state and federal laws, and adhere to the Ohio Code of Ethics set up by the Ohio Department of Education. Subject to all applicable laws, essential job functions of this position include the employee being punctual and capable of completing all of the position's required duties, with or without reasonable accommodation. The successful candidate must complete all required compliance courses as assigned by the administration.
