XPression Video Board Operator Salary:
Contracted ($300 per game) Report to: Senior Manager, Game Entertainment The Portland Winterhawks are seeking a XPression Video Board Operator. This individual will work primarily with Ross XPression, as well as other motion graphics applications. This role will focus on operating on game nights and programming high quality, in-game motion elements, animations, and graphics. We're looking for a talented and experienced individual who can help position the Winterhawks at the forefront of in-game presentation. This position requires critical thinking and creativity to create an in-game experience that is captivating, entertaining, and ever-evolving. This position will work closely with the Senior Manager, Game Entertainment as well as the Production Director on game day.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate Ross XPression Tessera and Dashboard during Winterhawks hockey games Collaborate with the Winterhawks Graphics Team to execute designs and animations within the production environment Execute and deploy graphics in live and on-air production settings Build, program, and operate Ross Dashboard in alignment with event rundowns Ensure quality control across all graphic and video production elements Collaborate with Senior Manager of Game Entertainment and Production Director to deliver scripted and unscripted content that occurs Strong working knowledge of hockey to time graphics around game action Participate in all scheduled rehearsals, pre-game meetings, and training sessions as required
REQUIREMENTS
Proficient in Ross Xpression software, including DataLinq Working knowledge of the Ross Tessera system, Incoder, Dashboard, and Project Server Basic understanding of scripting and/or visual logic within XPression Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects Flexible schedule, including availability on nights, weekends, and holidays as needed We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
