Founded by Justin Henshaw in 2008, what started as a passion for bringing unforgettable music to weddings and events has grown into a trusted name for celebrations across the Eastern United States. Our team is made up of fun, reliable professionals who care deeply about making each event feel one-of-a-kind. Whether it's a beachfront wedding, a backyard party, or a local venue celebration, we pride ourselves on delivering great music, seamless flow, and the kind of energy that keeps the dance floor alive all night. Role Description We're hiring experienced DJ/MCs to join our team in the Pittsburgh area. This is a contract role focused almost exclusively on weddings .
You will be responsible for:
Performing as the DJ and emcee at weddings Using your own DJ controller and laptop Collaborating with clients on music planning and timelines Managing the flow of the event (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, formalities) Making clear, confident announcements and keeping the energy up throughout the night This role is not for beginner DJs or those looking to learn on the job. We're looking for DJs who are already comfortable mixing live, reading a crowd, and speaking on the mic. When You'll Start & How It Works We're actively recruiting now. New DJs typically complete onboarding and wedding-specific training over the spring, with regular events beginning in June .
Please note:
This role is mostly (almost always) weddings Weddings are seasonal and primarily on Saturdays Peak season is May-October Expect approximately 10-15 Saturdays per year This is a part-time, seasonal, contract position —not full-time or immediate weekly work.
