Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and charismatic Wedding Officiant to serve as the heart of memorable ceremonies. In this highly flexible, gig-style role, you'll simply arrive on-site, deliver a beautifully written ceremony, and help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for each couple's special moment. With minimal time commitment (average time commitment: 3-4 hours per gig) and no advance client preparation required, this position offers the opportunity to earn hundreds of dollars per weekend while being part of life's most joyful celebrations. Your confident presence, strong communication skills, and professionalism will ensure each ceremony feels seamless and meaningful. No prior experience or certification required! Responsibilities Arrive on-site at scheduled ceremony locations on time and fully prepared Officiate wedding ceremonies by reading a pre-written script provided by the company Maintain a warm, professional, and composed presence during each ceremony Coordinate briefly with planners upon arrival to ensure smooth execution Exit promptly after ceremony conclusion, allowing the event team to transition seamlessly Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and a positive attitude throughout all interactions and ceremonies Qualifications Strong public speaking and presentation skills with the ability to connect authentically with diverse audiences Weekend and evening availability (ceremonies are typically held during these times) Reliable and punctual with dependable transportation to event locations Professional, polished appearance and demeanor Ability to follow a script exactly as written, without deviation Comfortable performing in front of small to mid-sized groups Excellent time management and ability to adhere to a set schedule Prior experience in events, hospitality, theater, or public-facing roles is a plus, but not required This role is ideal for someone who: Has Ministry experience (preferred but NOT required!)
