Position Details Position Information Position Title Student Assistant for UIW Athletics Ticket Office Academic Year 2026-2027 UIW Mission University of the Incarnate Word is a Catholic institution that welcomes to its community persons of diverse backgrounds, in the belief that their respectful interaction advances the discovery of truth, mutual understanding, self-realization, and the common good. Position Summary The Student Assistant for UIW Athletics Ticket Office assists the Coordinator of Ticketing with scanning game-day tickets, distributing will-call tickets, and handling game-day sales for Football, Volleyball, Men's and Women's Basketball, Baseball, and Softball. This position reports to the Coordinator of Ticket Sales. Essential Functions Scanning tickets for all ticketed Athletic events on campus. Assist with will-call ticket distribution by having guests on the pass-list sign for tickets. Perform game-day ticket sales using the UIW online ticketing system & credit card machine. Greet, support, and provide the best customer service for all who attend UIW Athletic events. Assist with essential day-to-day ticket office operations by answering phone calls, responding to emails, etc. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Knowledge Skills and Abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other computer skills. Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures. Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA . Required Education Current UIW student Required Work Experience None. Preferred Qualifications Previous sales or customer service experience. Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations None. Work Hours Flexible hours depending on the students class schedule.
