JOB SUMMARY
As a Gameday Xpression Operator, you will help execute live games and events for the Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth, and other outside events hosted at the Delta Center. Your main responsibility will be operating Ross Xpression and dashboards during pre-game and gameplay. This is an entry-level position in a highly competitive and fast-paced team environment that is challenging yet rewarding. We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator and problem solver who brings creativity and excitement to improve the crew and show you are a part of. This role is part-time.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate Ross Xpression and dashboards for Utah Jazz and Mammoth games. Ensure accuracy and consistency between the run of show and Xpression. Identify and pitch graphics and statistics during gameplay. Xpression training on non-gamedays. Maintain constant communication through stressful situations. Learn new technical skills as required. Maintain a positive attitude through challenging and long productions. Maintain a high-quality show through a detail-oriented mindset. QUALIFICATIONS
Flexibility to work nights and weekends (3-11 P.M.). Available for the majority of Delta Center events (including Jazz and Mammoth home games). Experience with Ross Xpression. Experience working in control rooms and live production environments.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Due to the nature of this role's event and gameday work, the employee must live within the greater Salt Lake City area upon the date of hire and throughout the duration of employment. Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to travel quickly in-arena distances traversing multiple floors/levels. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and stand for 2+ hours.
