Currently hiring a part time Sales Booth Assistant who will occasionally be required to load, store and transport all booth inventory and tents.DO NOT APPLY
unless you own a van that can carry 4 six foot tables, 6 large Costco size storage bins and 2 large six foot canopy tents. Large cars are never big enough. Job Overview The Sales Booth Assistant is responsible for set-up, manning, and clean-up of the Elizabeth Jewelry booth at the RVA Big Market and South of the James Market, held every Saturday and Sunday morning. Once set up, this position maintains a clean and organized jewelry layout through the duration of the markets as customers browse and try on jewelry, and cleans up at the conclusion. Need the ability to lift heavy equipment, stand for long periods of time, organize and contribute to visual layouts, provide excellent customer service, possess good listening skills, be quick to learn, and maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude. Most shifts are alongside the owner, Molly, or other Sales Booth Assistants, but may include working solo. Must be available holiday weekends. You will not be working every weekend.Locations:

- Saturdays
May-September:
6:30am-1pmOctober-April:
7:30am-1pm
Sundays:
8:30am-2pmPay:
$22 Hourly plus mileage when expected to transport booth.Minimum Qualifications:
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift heavy equipment, up to 40 pounds, such as tables, tents, tent weights, and visual displays
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to stand long periods of time
- Timely communication skills with owner and coworkers
- Good listening skills
- Ability to learn quickly
- Consistently aware of surroundings/customer behaviors
- Great team player
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work BOTH Saturday and Sunday shifts
- Vehicle large enough to carry all booth materials for solo shifts
- Comfortability working occasional solo shifts after training
- Experience using Square to complete sales
