Job Description

Metropolis Resort is seeking a skilled and customer-oriented individual to join our team as an Action City Game Tech. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of arcade games in a fast-paced and fun environment. This role requires a strong attention to detail, technical expertise, and good customer service skills. We're looking for part time and full time candidates to join our team of game techs. Full time candidates will work while Action City is closed as well as open on projects assigned by management and the IT director. Successful full time candidates must have previous experience with IT or electronics. Previous experience is not required for successful part time candidates. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with arcade games, provide exceptional customer service, and contribute to a fun and entertaining experience for our guests. There is also opportunities for advancement and IT experience. Starting pay is $16.50 per hour but negotiable with experience.
Duties include:
  • Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of arcade games, including regular inspections, cleaning, and repairs as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with arcade games, performing necessary repairs and adjustments to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and tools, and order replacements as necessary.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with game-related inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing guidance on game play.
  • Monitor game areas for safety hazards and address any concerns promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the arcade area, including game cabinets, floors, etc.
  • Assist with game set-up, including installing and configuring new arcade games.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
