Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Drone Operator and be at the forefront of innovative aerial solutions! In this role, you will be responsible for piloting unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) to capture high-quality imagery, conduct surveys, and support various operational missions. Your expertise will help enhance project efficiency, safety, and data collection across diverse environments. We are seeking motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings and are passionate about leveraging drone technology to solve real-world challenges. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop specialized skills in aviation, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), and military-grade operations. Responsibilities Operate drones safely and efficiently in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and other applicable aviation standards Capture high-resolution photography and filming footage for project documentation, inspections, or promotional purposes Conduct pre-flight inspections, maintenance, and mechanical checks to ensure drone readiness and safety Utilize GIS tools to analyze spatial data collected during flights for mapping, surveying, or reconnaissance tasks Follow strict protocols for flight planning, including assessing airspace restrictions and coordinating with relevant authorities Maintain detailed logs of flight hours, maintenance activities, and mission reports for compliance and record-keeping Support mission planning by understanding military operations and integrating DoD (Department of Defense) experience when applicable Skills Proven experience in drone operation with a strong understanding of aviation safety standards Skilled in photography and filming techniques to produce clear, professional-quality visuals Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on drone equipment Familiarity with GIS software for spatial analysis and data interpretation Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations governing UAS operations within national airspace Experience working within military or farm operations is better Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate with team members and stakeholders effectively Embark on a career where cutting-edge technology meets impactful missions!
