Responsibilities Operate FAA-approved drones safely and efficiently to capture aerial footage and photographs of residential and commercial properties. Plan flight paths using GIS (Geographic Information Systems) data to optimize coverage and image quality. Ensure all drone flights comply with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and other applicable aviation laws. Conduct pre-flight inspections of drone equipment, including mechanical components, cameras, and accessories, to guarantee optimal performance. Film and photograph properties from various angles, capturing compelling visuals that highlight key features. Maintain detailed logs of flight activities, footage recordings, and equipment maintenance records. Collaborate with real estate agents and marketing teams to deliver polished media content that meets client specifications. Requirements Valid FAA drone pilot certification (Part 107 license) with proven experience operating drones for commercial purposes. Strong mechanical knowledge of drone systems, cameras, and related hardware. Experience with GIS tools for flight planning and spatial analysis. Skilled in filming techniques, photography composition, and editing software to produce professional-quality media. Background in aviation or military service with DoD experience is highly desirable. Deep understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations governing drone operations in the national airspace. Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate effectively with team members and clients. Knowledge of military or aviation standards that promote safety and precision during drone flights.
