Essential Functions 20%- Schedules classical music 20%
- Hosts and edits air shifts (including during fundraisers) 20%
- Edits and produces automation elements, and edits and segues of classical breaks 20%
- Edits and digitizes a curation of classical library and on-air data 10%
- Digital editing and producing content for the station's audience services 10%
- Fundraises and represents the station at concerts and community events Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in journalism, radio/television, broadcasting or directly related field and two years of broadcast (radio/television) editing experience.
Special Requirements Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:
FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License may be required for some assignments. Desired Qualifications A. One (1) year of full-time relevant MCCCD experience during the previous two (2) years B. Three (3) years of experience hosting classical radio air shifts. C. Three (3) years of experience producing content for air using digital editing software. D. Two (2) years of experience scheduling classical music shifts using scheduling software (ex, Music Master). E. One (1) year of experience representing a radio station at concerts and community events. Special Working Conditions Travel to campus during interview/selection process will be at candidate's own expense. Will be required to travel or be assigned to all MCCCD locations.
