Advancement Assistance The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles (LA Catholics) - 3.5 La Verne, CA Job Details 11 hours ago Qualifications Confidential information handling Content editing Quality control Document quality checks Technical Proficiency Full Job Description Position Overview The Advancement Assistant (Data and Events) oversees gift management, database integrity, and comprehensive event support. This role serves as a key operational anchor, managing constituent records, processing donations, generating data reports, and coordinating event production materials. The ideal candidate is a proactive, hyper-organized "executor" with an exceptional eye for detail, a collaborative attitude, and proven time-management systems. The Assistant works closely with the Advancement Manager for Alumni Engagement & Philanthropy, while providing vital administrative and clerical support to the broader Advancement Department and the School President.
Requirements Experience:
Familiarity with Blackbaud's the Raiser's Edge or DonorPerfect software is highly preferred; an eagerness and aptitude to quickly learn the software is required.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong computer skills, including experience with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite, and Canvas.
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence and professionalism.
Quality Control:
Strong proofreading and editing skills to ensure error-free donor communications.

Absolute commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality regarding sensitive donor information and school records. Wage Range The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
