Job Description

The Ford Agency is seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Legislative Researcher for a well-established association focused on compliance and regulatory issues. This role centers on researching, synthesizing, and presenting complex legislation across multiple publications, turning dense regulatory information into clear, accessible content for a broad range of audiences. Responsibilities Include:
Research and analyze relevant new legislation and regulations Summarize laws, regulations, and other materials for surveys Screen, proofread and edit various bills and update compliance service chapters Act as the primary editor for multiple association publications
Qualifications Include:
Bachelor's degree 2+ years of experience in legal research, writing, and editing Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills Comprehensive understanding of compliance and regulatory processes Working experience with online legal research databases
Compensation:
$65,000 - $72,000 Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area and available to start immediately. The Ford Agency is a recruiting firm based in Washington, DC.
