About the role:

GoodRx is seeking a pharmacy editor to help create compelling, consumer-friendly content that informs and supports healthcare decision-making. In this role, you'll research, write, and edit content across a wide range of topics for GoodRx Health, translating complex clinical information into clear, accessible language for a lay audience.

We're looking for a pharmacist with strong written and verbal communications skills who can draw on both real-world experience and current scientific evidence. You'll be responsible for turning clinical insights into engaging, accurate, and easy-to-understand content that meets high editorial and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Recruit, onboard, and manage a team of freelance pharmacist writers and reviewersWrite, edit, and review consumer-friendly drug and health content for clinical accuracy, clarity, and toneTranslate complex clinical information into engaging and easy-to-understand content for a lay audienceEnsure content aligns with GoodRx editorial standards, style guidelines, and SEO best practicesStay up to date on clinical guidelines, new drug approvals, and emerging healthcare trendsCollaborate cross-functionally with SEO, product, and marketing teams to support content initiatives, including serving as a clinical expert and reviewer for social, marketing, and video contentReview and update existing content to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and relevanceSupport content requests tied to business priorities, including new drug launchesEngage with pharmacy students conducting their APPEs with other GoodRx pharmacists, with the opportunity to precept studentsSkill and qualifications:

PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree required; active pharmacist licensed preferred5+ years of experience in pharmacy practice, medical writing, editing, or related fieldExperience writing or editing drug or patient education content preferredExperience working with freelance writers or cross-functional teams is a plusFamiliarity with SEO best practices and digital content strategy is a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex clinical information into clear, consumer-friendly contentDemonstrated ability to interpret and apply clinical guidelines, prescribing information, and primary literatureExcellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in health and drug informationAbility to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently
