A travel and lifestyle media company is looking for a freelance editor who specializes in short-form clips. This is ongoing weekly work, not a one-off project. You will take long-form video and podcast episodes and turn them into social-optimized clips. Our workflow runs through Opus Clip, so real hands-on experience with that tool is a priority. You will generate and refine clips in Opus, export them, and finish in Premiere Pro by adding b-roll, cleaning up pacing, and making sure captions and framing are correct for vertical social platforms. We are looking for someone with a strong instinct for what makes a clip work. You should be able to find the moment in a 60-minute conversation that earns a stop-scroll, not just cut where the transcript says to. Source and layer in b-roll to support the story

QC captions, framing, audio levels, and vertical crops

Deliver on a consistent weekly turnaround What we're looking for Proven experience editing social-optimized short-form clips

Working knowledge of Opus Clip (required)

Strong Premiere Pro skills, especially b-roll assembly and caption cleanup

Podcast clip experience strongly preferred

Understanding of platform specs and best practices for TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and YouTube
