Contract-to-hire (full-time opportunity after 90 days) Position Summary Triple Crown Sports is seeking a highly motivated Digital Media Producer & Editor to produce and manage dynamic media content across all sports and platforms. This role is responsible for capturing the energy and storytelling behind our events through high-quality media production, including game highlights, promotional content, social media features, and broadcast-ready assets. This is a content-first role , focused primarily on video production, content creation, and storytelling, with secondary responsibilities that include photography and supporting live broadcast productions. This is a mid-level, hands-on creative role for a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced sports environments. The Video Coordinator will work closely and collaboratively across departments and may assist in guiding interns, freelancers, and entry-level creatives. This position will own the full production workflow—from concept and scripting to shooting, editing, and delivery—while supporting live event coverage and maintaining a best-in-class digital video library. Employment Structure (Contract-to-Hire) This position will begin as a contract role for an initial period of up to 90 days . During this time, the candidate will work closely with the Triple Crown Sports team to demonstrate performance, collaboration, and overall fit within the organization. At the conclusion of the contract period, there will be a formal evaluation with the opportunity to transition into a full-time salaried position based on performance and organizational needs. Key Responsibilities Media Production & Storytelling Plan, script, shoot, and edit high-quality video content including game highlights, event recaps, interviews, feature stories, and promotional pieces- Produce content for social media, website, streaming platforms (TC Network), and in-venue displays
- Capture compelling visuals that reflect the Triple Crown brand and event experience
- Direct athletes, coaches, and staff during on-camera shoots
- Be able to capture photos for marketing Post-Production Edit content using Adobe Creative Suite with strong attention to pacing, storytelling, and brand consistency
- Incorporate music, graphics, and motion elements to elevate content quality
- Export and deliver content optimized for various platforms (social, web, broadcast, LED screens)
- Understand different codecs and formatting to effectively deliver content across platforms
- Work in conjunction with the Marketing department to collaborate on social media content
- Create and execute, in conjunction with the Marketing department, commercial production and other media needs
- Edit videos for community outreach, presentations, corporate partners, and other TCS initiatives
- Apply proper color correction, graphics, and sound design
- Perform other duties as directed by the Director, Video & Broadcasting Content & Media Management Maintain an organized and accessible video archive across all events and sports
- Manage digital assets and workflows within a networked storage environment
- Ensure consistent file structure, naming conventions, and storage protocols Innovation & Technology Stay current with video trends, tools, and emerging technologies
- Recommend and implement improvements to production workflows and equipment Required Skills Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects ; Strong production skillset, including camera operation, lighting, audio capture, and post-production workflows
- Excellent sense of pacing, music selection, and visual storytelling , particularly for sports highlights and promotional content
- Experience working within networked storage environments (shared servers, drive mapping, and media asset management workflows)
- Highly organized with the ability to manage large digital media libraries and video archives efficiently
- Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality output
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and adapt in fast-paced, live event environments
- Capable of ENG-style, run-and-gun videography in live event environments , with the ability to capture high-quality content under tight timelines Production Equipment & Technical Experience (Preferred)
- Familiarity with gimbal systems (DJI or Equivalen and action cameras (GoPro)
- Familiarity with Blackmagic ATEM and NewBlue Captivate preferred
- Experience with multi-camera workflows and live production setups Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Cinematography, Media, Marketing, or related field or 2-5+ years of professional video production experience (sports experience preferred)
- Demo reel or portfolio required for consideration
- Expert knowledge of video camera and field production equipment, including Canon 1DX, JVC HC500, Sony Alpha Series, JVC HMU250
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines for broadcast and digital content delivery
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
- Maintain a professional demeanor with a high degree of discretion, integrity, and accountability Preferred Qualifications
- Strong storytelling ability across short-form and long-form content
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in high-pressure environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working with athletes and staff
- Experience directing on-camera talent preferred
- Experience with livestreaming or broadcast production, including studio and on-site setup, is a plus Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to setup generators, scaffolding, and scissor lifts
- Ability to run cable
- Willingness to travel for events, including weekends and extended stays
