Job Description:

Wick Communications is seeking a creative, efficient, and detail-oriented Page Designer to join our central newspaper pagination team. In this role, you'll design pages for daily newspapers and specialty publications across our diverse portfolio of markets. Responsibilities Design and produce assigned news pages accurately and on deadline Communicate effectively with fellow design team members Coordinate with advertising staff to produce and finalize page dummies Collaborate with local newsrooms to budget and proof news content Create and maintain templates for frequently used page elements Participate in regular team meetings Qualifications Expert-level proficiency in Adobe InDesign Newspaper page layout experience required Experience producing feature layouts, such as magazines, specialty sections, or highly designed fronts Experience with Blox CMS strongly preferred This is a full-time position based in Tucson, Arizona, though remote work (Remote available only in these states: Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Illinois, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, California, New York, Florida and Texas.) may be considered for the right candidate. The role will require some evening and weekend work, in addition to a typical Monday-Friday schedule.
