Plans and coordinates material to be included in publications. Works with print material or website content. May specialize in copy editing (careful review of text for errors) or other types of editing; may work as an executive editor with authority to approve publications and contracts.
We're looking for someone who can take our existing photo and video content and turn it into a high volume of simple, effective social media posts. This is not a traditional Social Media Manager role. We already create and organize the content. Your job is to go into our content library, find good clips, edit them quickly, post consistently, and help manage our social accounts. What You'll Do Edit short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and GBP. Work from an existing library of raw photos and videos Add simple cuts, text, captions, music, and hooks Schedule and publish content consistently Repurpose content across different platforms Respond to comments, DMs, and basic customer questions Pay attention to what performs and create more of what works Test new ideas, formats, hooks, and editing styles What We're Looking For You should: Understand TikTok, Reels, and internet culture Know basic short-form video editing Have good visual taste Work quickly without overcomplicating things Be organized and independent Be willing to experiment and try new ideas We care more about taste, consistency, speed, and initiative than years of experience. But if you take smart creative risks and create content that significantly outperforms our normal results, you can earn additional performance bonuses.
