East Coast Capture is one of New England's fastest-growing school and childcare photography companies, serving hundreds of schools, childcare centers, and families throughout the region. We are looking for a talented, detail-oriented In-House Photo Editor & Graphic Designer who is passionate about creating exceptional images and helping us deliver an outstanding customer experience. Position Summary The In-House Photo Editor & Graphic Designer is responsible for editing high volumes of school and daycare portraits . This position plays a key role in ensuring every image and class photo and class composites reflects our company's high standards of quality and professionalism.
Primary Responsibilities :
Photo Editing Professionally edit large volumes of school and daycare portraits. Perform color correction, exposure adjustments, cropping, straightening, and image enhancement. Remove minor blemishes and distractions while maintaining natural appearances. Organize, rename, and manage digital image files. Ensure consistency across all edited images. Meet daily production deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality standards. Graphic Design Design class photo composites and class photos using template and in-house software specifically for creating these for schools. Create custom photo booth strip templates and themed event designs. Photoshop enhancements to specialty products lines. Prepare print-ready files for production. Team Collaboration Work closely with photographers, customer service, sales, and marketing teams. Assist with creative brainstorming for seasonal promotions and new product offerings. Maintain organized digital asset libraries. Ensure brand consistency across all customer-facing materials.

Qualifications Experience editing high-volume portrait photography. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (required). Working knowledge of Adobe Lightroom is preferred. Strong understanding of color correction and image retouching. Excellent graphic design and layout skills. Strong attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment. Positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively.

Preferred Experience Experience working with school or volume photography. Experience preparing files for commercial printing. Knowledge of social media content creation.
