Open Until Filled Job Description Posting Text South Dakota State University (SDState) is currently seeking an Information Specialist to join our Animal Science department. This position will play a critical role in the department's three primary missions which are learning, discovery, and engagement. If you have a strong attention to detail and excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills then this position may be for you! Tomorrow's animal and natural resources industry leaders gain the educational foundation they need in the Department of Animal Science. With our multidisciplinary approaches toward production efficiency, product enhancement and natural resources management, both our undergraduate and our graduate students gain strong skill sets. This position is located in Brookings. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
Job Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for preparing, coordinating, and developing Animal Science Department informational communications following university and department guidelines, meeting required deadlines as well as providing vital administrative services for faculty, staff, and students.
