Job Description
Job DescriptionIngram Content Group is hiring for Pre Media specialist to start immediately with our media team in LaVergne, TN (Greater Nashville Area). Provides basic technical assistance to the customer to facilitate the integration of publisher data and content at Lightning Source. Responsible for simple testing, editing and validating data files to ensure Ingram compliance. Communicates to content submitters any issues or concerns with their data and demonstrates the file adjustment to the customer, escalating more complex issues. Interacts regularly with Client Services, Sales, and Operations via email, phone, ticketing systems, and remote and in-person meetings. Works with department leadership to learn internal systems, structure, and additional skills.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday Day shift
•Start time is flexible 6am, 7am, 8am
•8 hour shift OT if required
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors' Degree or directly related year for year experience1 year of experience using current InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat programs, or other Mac based graphic design software.
Key Responsibilities:
Responds to basic inquiries
•both internal and external
•via phone and/or email, regarding simple technical questions or issues related to content submission and compliance.
Assists customers with basic file format set up and submission by providing step-by-step instructions to customers regarding file submissions via web or ftp site.
Provides basic file review, analysis and feedback to customers to ensure the successful submission of content, escalating more complex issues.
Performs simple file fixes.
Uses Adobe Acrobat Professional, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Word as well as other software and hardware, to achieve desired results in a timely manner in accordance with publisher specifications and the Lightning Source operating manual.
Prepares digital interiors and covers using client supplied files in formats including PDF, Photoshop, InDesign and other programs, as needed, in accordance with publisher specifications and the LSI operating manual and templates.
Communicates with Publishers and Client Service Coordinators to resolve issues.
Accurately troubleshoots simple manufacturing and file related issues.
Partners with senior staff and leadership to learn additional skills, internal systems and structure.
Learn internal content management systems and product offerings.
Escalates quality concerns with supplier data to supervisor as appropriate.
Works directly with PreMedia, Operations, Sales, Client Services and IT, as well as ICG leadership team.

Hiring Salary Range:
$20.06/hr
•$24.64/hr. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to: the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
