This role will have a key impact on overall fit and product execution and requires a high level of attention to detail, technical knowledge, and cross-functional collaboration. Lead the technical design process in bringing women's products from initial sample stage through production readiness. Lead fit sessions, evaluate garment performance on body, and recommend adjustments to achieve consistency in silhouette, comfort, and sizing. Create and update detailed tech packs, measurement charts, construction notes, and fit comments for each style. Partner with overseas vendors and internal teams to communicate revisions related to fit, patterns, and garment engineering. Work closely with design, merchandising, production, and sales partners to ensure product intent is maintained throughout development. Monitor pre-production and production sample stages, including approvals and follow-up on required corrections. Maintain organized records of fit history, development changes, and production standards across seasons. Track calendars and key milestones to help keep development and production deliverables on schedule. Troubleshoot construction, quality, and fit issues and propose practical solutions that balance aesthetics, function, and manufacturability. Apply strong knowledge of patternmaking, grading, and garment construction to support accurate execution and scalable fit standards. Contribute to the refinement of blocks, specifications, and technical processes for women's swim categories. 5+ years Technical Design experience within women's apparel Experience with swim is a plus!
