Job description Luli Fama is seeking an exceptionally creative and experienced designer to help shape the future of our swimwear and resort collections. Working directly with the Founder and Creative Director, you will play a key role in developing seasonal collections from concept through production. This is a highly creative, hands-on position for someone who combines a strong fashion point of view with excellent product development skills and a passion for premium lifestyle brands. Responsibilities Design innovative swimwear and resortwear collections aligned with the Luli Fama brand vision. Research fashion, color, fabric, print, and lifestyle trends to inspire new collections. Develop seasonal concepts, silhouettes, print direction, trims, and styling details. Create technical sketches, CADs, line plans, and presentation boards. Partner closely with merchandising, technical design, product development, and production teams throughout the development process. Select fabrics, trims, embellishments, and finishes that elevate the product. Participate in fittings and collaborate with technical design to achieve exceptional fit and quality. Work with overseas and domestic vendors throughout the sampling and production process. Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitors, and customer preferences. Contribute creative ideas that strengthen the overall brand and product strategy. The successful candidate will have:
7+ years of experience designing premium swimwear, resortwear, or contemporary women's apparel. A strong portfolio showcasing original design, innovation, and commercial success. Exceptional understanding of silhouette, fit, color, print, fabric, and garment construction. Experience developing collections from initial concept through production. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Strong knowledge of luxury and contemporary fashion trends. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
