full-time Sweet Apparel Inc. is a fast-paced apparel manufacturer specializing in quick turn production for juniors, women's, men's, and kids' clothing. The company is recognized for high standards in design, quality, and timely delivery to retail partners and brands. Teams collaborate closely across design, production, and operations to bring fashion-forward products to market efficiently. Position Summary We are growing and currently seeking a Sr. Menswear Designer to drive the trend-to-market design process, oversee execution, and manage the Men's Category. Joining our energetic, high-volume creative team, you will apply an innovative and versatile design approach that is compelling and aligns seamlessly with our brand identity and diverse customer base.

Please note:

this is an on-site position in Midtown Manhattan where we work in office 5 days/week! Key Responsibilities Research and identify trend directions; perform competitive analysis; and create inspiring mood boards and concepts inclusive of color and materials Excellent color sense and ability to identify color trends and discern appropriateness for the brand Ensure artwork is technically accurate, production-ready, and aligned with manufacturing capabilities and standards Translate trends into relevant, original, and commercially viable graphic concepts while encouraging thoughtful experimentation with new aesthetics, techniques, materials, and AI-enabled tools Devise style plans and design according to sales needs and emerging trends all whilst ensuring timely execution of product development calendar Approve lab dips with the team and ensure consistency with color standards; review prints and graphics where appropriate and advise revisions Oversee creation of technical packs, ensuring accuracy Contribute positively to team dynamics fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration Build meaningful relationships with cross functional partners to get desired results Drive change where necessary and processes as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Design, Art, or related field 7+ years of experience in design; preferably in Men's and/or Boys' Active or related categories for wholesale Strong understanding of fabrics, trims, garment construction, and cost implications in a high-volume retail environment Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately in a deadline-driven environment Working knowledge of screen printing, techniques and sublimation Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop What We Offer Opportunity to support innovative programs for leading retailers and globally recognized brands Exposure to the complete product lifecycle-from concept and product development through production and retail launch Health insurance Paid time off and holidays Collaborative and entrepreneurial work environment Professional development and career advancement opportunities
