They're looking for an experienced, hardworking, and motivated Soft Goods Accessories Designer to join their creative design and development team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, proactive, detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative, trend-forward accessories for women, teens, tweens, and young adults. Communicate with overseas development offices and production teams. Create designs using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Research market trends and contribute ideas for new product concepts. Develop CADs, tech packs, line sheets, color stories, patterns, and colorways. Create detailed technical drawings, specifications, and prototypes for production. Conduct quality-control checks on samples and finished products. Provide photo retouching support as needed.
What We're Looking For:
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator. Strong CAD illustration and vector tracing skills. Graphic design experience and the ability to develop creative, practical product designs. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Mac systems. A strong fashion sense with the ability to identify market and consumer trends. Knowledge of materials, textiles, and manufacturing processes. Excellent communication, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. AI skills are a plus.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Design or a related field. Relevant soft goods or accessories category experience. A portfolio showcasing soft goods design work for women's and men's products, with a strong focus on girls', teens', and tweens' accessories.
