You will manage multiple projects and deadlines, communicate directly with buyers, and work with overseas factories to turn designs into finished products. Responsibilities Create original fashion CADs, textile prints, seamless repeats, placement prints, colorways, and color separations Develop artwork from sketches, scanned images, vintage prints, inspiration boards, and buyer requests Create detailed and accurate tech packs, including measurements, materials, trims, artwork placement, construction notes, and packaging instructions Take accurate product measurements and track revisions, buyer comments, factory notes, and sample corrections Communicate directly with buyers to understand their design needs Work with Sales, Product Development, art houses, and overseas factories Learn how factories translate CADs and tech packs into finished products Retouch product photography, including masking, background removal, color correction, compositing, cropping, and resizing Create sales presentations, mood boards, line sheets, packaging designs, and product-development materials Research fashion, print, color, accessory, packaging, and retail trends Use AI-assisted tools, including Adobe Firefly and Photoshop Generative Fill, to improve workflow and reduce repetitive tasks Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines Qualifications 1-4 years of experience in fashion CAD, textile design, surface pattern design, graphic design, accessories design, or product development Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills Working knowledge of InDesign, Lightroom, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Experience with original prints, repeats, recoloring, technical flats, CADs, and tech packs Strong attention to detail and ability to make accurate measurements Knowledge of fashion materials, colors, trims, packaging, and manufacturing Ability to take feedback, criticism, and revision notes professionally Strong communication, organization, and deadline-management skills College degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Graphic Design, or a related field Portfolio of relevant work required Growth Opportunity This is a hands-on learning opportunity to understand how a fashion company builds a product line, works with buyers and factories, develops private-label products, and manages the business of fashion merchandising.
