Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Pro Services Specialist to join our team! In this energetic role, you will be the key driver of high-end sales and exceptional customer service, providing expert guidance on renovation, construction, lighting design, and interior layout solutions. Your enthusiasm for product demos, inside and outside sales, and upselling will help customers transform their spaces while ensuring a seamless shopping experience. Duties Engage with customers through inside and outside sales to understand their renovation and remodeling needs, offering tailored solutions. Demonstrate product features such as lighting fixtures, CAD-based layout designs, and other interior design elements to inspire customers. Conduct product demos and provide expert advice on lighting sales, merchandising, and maintenance solutions. Assist customers with POS transactions, cash handling, retail math calculations, and stock management to ensure smooth checkout experiences. Develop strong account management relationships by upselling complementary products like lighting design accessories or remodeling supplies. Collaborate with team members on marketing initiatives, merchandising strategies, and organizational tasks to enhance store presentation. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product offerings including CAD software applications like SketchUp and technical aspects of construction materials. Requirements Proven experience in outside sales or inside sales within retail or construction-related industries. Proficiency with SketchUp, CAD software, lighting design tools, and layout design principles. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to upsell effectively while maintaining excellent customer service. Knowledge of renovation projects, remodeling processes, interior design concepts, and maintenance solutions. Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus. Organizational skills with an eye for merchandising detail and retail presentation standards. Ability to perform basic math calculations for retail math tasks such as pricing, discounts, and stock levels. Experience with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math is preferred.
