Position Summary The Student Assistant for Fashion Management primarily works as a teaching assistant in Fashion Studio classes and assists faculty and staff with day-to-day tasks as needed by the department. The Student Assistant reports to the Fashion Management Faculty. Essential Functions Assists faculty in Fashion Design Studio classes. Typing. Filing. Answering phones. Assists faculty, staff, and student. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Knowledge Skills and Abilities Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and reliability. Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures. Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference and the NCAA. Required Education Current UIW fashion student. Eligible to participate in the Federal Work-Study program Successfully completed the following course:
FMGT 1310.
