Duties Design and assemble floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, events, and everyday celebrations Select and source high-quality flowers, foliage, and decorative accents to ensure vibrant and lasting designs Assist customers by understanding their needs and providing expert floral recommendations Maintain the freshness and appearance of floral displays through proper handling, watering, and storage techniques Manage inventory levels of flowers, supplies, and merchandising displays to optimize sales opportunities Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems for transactions, including cash handling and retail math calculations Organize stockroom areas efficiently, ensuring flowers are properly stored and displayed for easy access Collaborate with team members on merchandising strategies to enhance visual appeal and customer engagement Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering suggestions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience Experience Prior experience in floral design or related horticultural fields such as gardening or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Knowledge of floral design principles, color theory, and arrangement techniques is highly desirable Familiarity with retail operations including cashiering, stocking, merchandising, and POS systems enhances effectiveness in this role Organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Experience with horticulture practices such as lawn care or landscape maintenance can be beneficial but is not mandatory A passion for creativity, customer service excellence, and teamwork will help you thrive in this energetic environment Embark on a rewarding journey where your artistic talents blossom!
