Job Description
Experienced Floral Designer (Part-Time) Polk Street Florist is a family-owned flower shop celebrating 10 years on Polk Street in San Francisco. We're looking for an experienced, dependable floral designer who enjoys working in a fast-paced neighborhood flower shop and takes pride in creating beautiful work while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Design fresh flower arrangements for everyday orders, sympathy work, holidays, and special events Assist customers in person and over the phone Process, condition, and care for fresh flowers and plants Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked shop Merchandise flowers, plants, and gift items Work collaboratively with a small, supportive team Qualifications Professional floral design experience required Retail flower shop experience strongly preferred Friendly, professional customer service skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Able to lift and carry flower buckets and boxes (up to 40 lbs.) Must be available to work Saturdays and occasional holidays Reliable transportation Punctual, dependable, and proactive in communicating availability Schedule Part-time, approximately 15 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours during holidays and busy seasons.
