Job Description
Floral Designer / Retail Florist (Part-Time) Polk Street Florist is a family-owned flower shop in San Francisco celebrating 10 years in business. We're looking for a dependable, creative floral designer who enjoys working in a fast-paced neighborhood flower shop. What You'll Do
- Design fresh flower arrangements for daily orders, events, and sympathy work
- Assist customers in-store and over the phone
- Process and prepare flowers
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and well stocked
- Help with merchandising and plant care
- Work as part of a small, supportive team What We're Looking For
- Floral design experience (retail florist experience is a plus)
- Friendly, professional customer service
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Comfortable lifting buckets of flowers (up to 40 lbs.)
- Available to work Saturdays and occasional holidays
- Reliable transportation
- Punctual and dependable, with the ability to consistently meet scheduled shifts and communicate proactively about availability Schedule Part-time, approximately 15 hours per week with opportunities for additional hours during holidays and busy seasons.
