The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design and a love for flowers, with the ability to create beautiful arrangements that meet customer needs. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the overall aesthetic of our floral shop. Duties Create and design floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, funerals, and special events. Assist customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that suit their needs and preferences. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop, ensuring all displays are attractive and well-stocked. Handle cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing credit card payments. Manage inventory levels by restocking flowers and supplies as needed, utilizing retail math skills to track sales trends. Participate in e-commerce initiatives by managing online orders and ensuring timely fulfillment. Provide landscape maintenance services as needed, including plant care tasks to enhance outdoor displays. Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure a positive shopping experience. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or as a florist is preferred but not required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Familiarity with cash register operations and cash handling procedures. Basic knowledge of retail math to assist in inventory management and sales tracking. Experience with e-commerce platforms is a plus. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues. A passion for flowers, design, and customer service is essential for success in this role.
